Liz is passionate about educating, supporting, and empowering families during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond. She is a mother, healthcare provider of over 20 years and Certified Lactation Educator in Greater Boston. Like others, motherhood has influenced Liz’s family life, personal priorities, and passions. Connecting with and supporting families during such a special time of their lives has become a focus for Liz. She completed her training as a Certified Lactation Educator through Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) in 2023 and is now working to achieve her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential.

With Liz’s new passion and commitment to support families and the community, Generations Birth and Breastfeeding was born. To achieve this, Liz is scaling back on her hours delivering respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients and now divides her time between working with patients at a local hospital and supporting families and communities throughout their breastfeeding and new parenting journeys. Among a team of educators at Beth Israel Lahey Health, Liz can also be found teaching in-person breastfeeding classes to expecting parents at the Beverly Hospital campus. During a time of new parenting joys, challenges, and unpredictability, Liz can provide evidence-based information, counseling, and support through pregnancy, birth, and newborn experiences.
